“ Great vibes, even better food! The Bacon flight is a must! Best scrambled eggs too. Great service as well, would for sure come back again!! ”
“ Perhaps the best cheesy scrambled eggs ever. My girlfriend was drawn in by word of great cinnamon rolls. The one she got was spectacular, but she is one of those purists for whom a roll is not legit without icing. Insert eye-roll here. It was covered in sugar and its swirls pulled apart with almost sensual grace. I still think Reddit was right to send us here. Our waitress was the sweetest in big black nerd glasses, and answered our questions about local movie theaters and such. Busy for a February Monday morning, a good testament to its fare. ”
“ It might've been nicer if we would've gotten to sit outside, but inside we were about 5 inches from the next table and it was very chaotic experience. You have one person take your order, another person deliver it which in theory should give you fast service and it did. But then you have one person who has food and one person who doesn't. They forgot my coffee and my boyfriend didn't catch it right away so that became a get the manager thing to try to get it off the bill. Maybe this is for a younger crowd? I did enjoy my miso salmon which was about the only thing with vegetables in on the menu and they were good: bok choy and two different kinds of green beans. ”
“ Bacon rules! Get ready to wait a tad 'cause this place is popular, especially on holidays and weekends. But it's worth it. Rotating menu of creative dishes. Friendly service. ”
“ A really great place for breakfast or lunch in Palm Springs. Friendly staff and cool menu. My girlfriend and I loved our meals. And the cinnaman roll was the perfect starter to the meal. And what's better than a vending machine that has t-shirts and dog treats? ”
“ Stopped at Cheeky's while staying in the area, did not disappoint. The staff were friendly, the coffee was delicious, and the food was amazing. The outdoor setting is wonderful given the perfect weather. The patio had such an awesome vibe, I wished it was my back yard! I started with a flight of bacon that was so good, each slice had a unique flavor. Then I had eggs Benedict and it was perfectly cooked, and so tasty. The coffee cup had a funny illustration at the bottom, stop by and you'll have to see it for yourself. ”
“ Against all odds, Palm Springs doesn't actually have many brunch spots. Staying in business for 15+ years in PS is no small feat, and I see what people like about Cheeky's--but it's not perfect. The Good: The service was very accommodating. We had two folks in our party arrive 20-30 minutes after being seated, and our server treated it as no big deal. We were a party of 8 and ordered drinks/coffee in the meantime. My coffee + espresso were great, and everyone seemed to like their cocktails. In addition the "bacon flights" they're known for were fanciful, fun, and delicious. When we were there (11 AM, Sunday after Thanksgiving) the ambiance was truly excellent. They've curated a brunch "vibe" that's on par with some far more expensive spots in LA, which isn't easy. The patio really does feel like a place where movie characters would go to brunch. The prices, which might seem high to some from out-of-state, are on par with LA diners, and a LOT cheaper than many brunch spots in CA. The Meh: In our party of 8, at least 3 of us didn't really like our mains. Turns out that's partially because a large chunk of the menu changes each week -- but none of temporary dishes are labeled as such. Three of us ordered dishes that aren't normally on the menu, but were simply listed with all the permanent entrees. The worst among them was a "mushroom scramble" so bland that my friend, who's not a complainer, seriously considered sending it back. (She was too embarrassed to do so) Among the permanent dishes, most were good, but nearly everyone said the same thing: their food needed salt and/or hot sauce. My eggs Benedict, which Cheeky's is known for, was especially in that category. It's not the end of the world, but it was oddly bland for such a rich dish. Overall: My experience was a 3.5 star one, but I'm rounding up for the great service and atmosphere. I HIGHLY recommend asking the server for a recommendation + which dishes are permanent fixtures vs. rotating specials, because they're in no way labeled. If you're looking for a decently-priced brunch spot in PS, Cheeky's is a good option. Just read the reviews and stick with entrees they're known for. ”
“ There was a wait at Cheeky's but I think that's typical for a weekend morning. We sat on the patio and it was warm but that's also typical for a desert restaurant. We were here for brunch but I was craving lunch so I chose the chicken avocado sandwich with a side of pesto fries. I really liked the fries and the sandwich had great flavor with the pesto and fontina cheese but the sourdough bread was a little too crispy for my liking and was the type of bread that tears up the roof of your mouth. Had the bread been a little softer and less toasted, I could have given this an extra star. The menu also doesn't say the bread is toasted, which could also help set expectations. ”
